I seriously do not understand why people insist on riding motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs and bikes without a helmet! People in Colorado are aloud to ride motorcycles without them and that’s nuts! Here in California, I think the CHP will taze you if you even think of riding without a helmet!
“Currently, 19 states and the District of Columbia have laws requiring all motorcyclists to wear a helmet, known as universal helmet laws. Laws requiring only some motorcyclists to wear a helmet are in place in 28 states. There is no motorcycle helmet use law in three states (Illinois, Iowa and New Hampshire).” – – iihs.org
Come on! Let’s make helmet laws the same in every state!
By the way, this video below is from Autowerkz.TV star Dennis Gage – he’s known for “My Classic Car,” but he has a real passion for Trippin on Two Wheels!
Can someone explain to me why helmet laws are not Federalized? Why can’t we make everyone wear one? I know that it would cut down on major brain trauma in accidents. It would help the paramedics find your head after it’s knocked off your shoulders, that’s for sure.
I know, I’m obnoxious, but I am sincere. The best way to make helmet laws stick is to standardize them across all 50 states.
What do you think?
